Fabric expansion joints for high temperature turbine exhaust in Natural Gas Compressor Stations
The transportation of natural gas is dependent on a network of complex piping that connect compressor and pumping stations to effectively deliver the gas from its source to the end user.
Due to the constant changes in pressure throughout the connecting equipment and piping, expansion joints are required to manage the movement. Expansion joints help reduce forces on the compressor nozzles when installed on the compressor inlet and outlet piping. Expansion joints are also installed on the exhaust of the gas turbine.
Badger specializes in the support of manned and unmanned pump stations located in “remote” areas. Our technical experts are qualified to perform site visits to inspect and reverse engineer all expansion joint requirements.
